Moving on.

We shook hands, said our good-byes, then we departed. A CRS mate jested, "So we see you in two-years time."
I said nothing but beamed.
The photo above, also saw me rounding off my last official committal at work last Thursday. Yes, I was contented with the company of my workmates, plus I had good time even with the commonplace politics that persevere. Who can forget a colleague who fancies sending good-humored text messages to the radio during work and another who fusses the entire afternoon over an iced mocha without whipped cream? The mere all-day standing appeared less weary and the straight 8-hours seemed not so arid with all the odd-but-fun people. Dissimilarly, I once stepped into a KFC outlet in the suburb witnessesing a discourteous staff all yelling at her workmate before the queue of customers. 'Uncivilised' I thought. I was momentarily grateful.
It was like a day before, when I shrink-wrapped the Eragon's and Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club, the same literature text from school along with Romeo & Juliet, except with a different cover. Little did I expect I would dip into the book once again in my soon-to-be 23 years of age. English Literature was entertaining and none of my classmates miraculously quitted literature for History, but that's another story altogether. Let's not go into that.
Note to my CRS mates: I'll never forget the experience and hopefully we'll get to meet-up someday again.
From livelihood to film, I wasn't a Manga buff for Death Note but I enjoyed the movie as much. I saw The Last Name later the same day in the evening with Joseph, Yan Ning, Ken and KY. It wasn't a disappointment but Ken and I agreed that part one was better. A bit complicated towards the end but wasn't that bad. After, we cab down home like we normally do cos we all live east-side, except for KY. No problem for taxi-fares cause Joseph owns Comfort and Citicab. I was only kidding, ya! -Haha-
Movies aside. It was down for books at school the next day with another campmate after his job interview. Boy, when will I ever revise the past academic stuff? Did I change not over the past few years, I am the usual last-minute. -Sigh-
We had lunch at SIM's Megabites Cafe, which practices a concept whereby we only pay upon leaving. I must say it was worth it, a cosy cafe, with affordable, nice food, what else! We also toured around NP (which made me feel really old) before heading to Al-Ameen for a glass of milo (which I was terribly addicted to!). Oh, I'll never forget Linus' joke about me looking alike those working at Al-Ameen during our campdays. Crap!
It was almost unimaginable that I am returning to good old school life again. Just yesterday, I was like scouring for writing materials at a bookstore where I met a secondary school mate. The first thing she asked was "Buying notepads and all?!" -Haha- Why not.

Whatever it is, today's a holiday. Similarly for the days to come. I gotta catch the so many TV shows! Happy holidays.
Goodbye 2006. Again, I'm left with the lessons of laughter and pain.
