Lest my mind wanders about.

I'm tired. Exhausted. I wonder what it has all led me to, because right now, I'm not happy with what I'm seeing. Everything feels numb. When will this stop? Sometimes I may laugh wholeheartedly at myself, being completely self-deprecating like a tragic figure laughing in a comedy. But in truth, I despised myself. There is not even a tinge of self-pity. I know, because I've searched high and low.

I can't find me. You won't either.

These are the days when I realised there are so much variations of jadedness, and I am sick of every single one of them. I can't cheer myself up at times. Don't get me wrong. I am not bitter or angry or anything. I am trying to remain positive. I really am. But one thing for sure,

I will learn to say no, in future.

And I really, really ban those people (don't want to mention any names) who pass sarcastic remarks to someone who is trying to share his/her problems with them. You know what. You overstep the border. Get a life and fark off.

On a sidenote, my sis and her family had safely reach Japan this morning. Transiting there first before heading straight to California. Woohoo! Sis, have fun exploring! See all of you in three weeks.

So anyway, we took plenty of pictures while waiting for the intended flight at the airport yesterday. Heh. heh. Such camera whores, we certainly are.

Time away from work is exactly what I need right now. I don't want to go back. But whatever it is, I will get through this week!

One love for the times we cried
One love gotta stay alive
I will survive.

In other breaking news, which goes to all my colleagues out there who don't know about this yet, Ismail told some of us about this blog last Tuesday. I didn't believe it at first. Wow, amazing. What an avid fan we have! You gotta check that out to know what I mean. So click on that link.

One love, gotta stay alive.

Back from a long lunch with Kenneth and Joseph that almost stretched into dinner time. Was awesome cause we hadn't caught up since months ago and still had so much to talk about as if the time we last met was... yesterday! But Joseph went off so early. Seemed to rush somehow, somewhat, somewhere, or to meet someone. I don't know.

So here's one of the photos we took with my digicam (But Joseph wouldn't ever be in the photos, never).

Ken did mentioned that his program in school is totally examination-free. Only but 100% assignments! How friggin cool is that? I wouldn't mind being lost in the world of assignments plus all these impossible deadlines and deadlines to meet. I really do. I admit I once hated it. It can be so scary, which was partly why I couldn't bring myself to blog as much as I did in the past. Haha but you don't mind me. I may just hate it again when my next semester starts. Still, this is better than burning theories and formulaes into my brain for the very unlikeable examination papers. Don't even mention, I was famously known among my polymates as one having mild short-term memory loss syndrome, which I so believe I have recovered, not.

Speaking of which, my final results will be out soon. Next Wednesday, June 6th! Today, the results for my Employment Relations assignments' are out. So surprised I scored for my individual essay but only managed to get an average for my group report. Ahh. I know I shouldn't say about this in the first place. Making me so nervous of my results right now. Especially my Marketing paper and how I got away writing craps for my case study. Well, June 6th is drawin' nearer...

Enuff of that. Ooh. Wanted to blog about this beverage I learnt from the Martha Stewart show and made a few days back (I have only so much sitting-and-do-nothing I can do that day). Did change abit here and there myself. But I would say, it is fantastic.

(FYI) Get about 10 big limes and extract the juice in a jug. Then throw those limes inside. Mix it with a bottle of ice cream soda (she put a sort of wine. I replaced that). Ice cubes inside. Also squeeze a lemon juice on the lid of your glass. Then a bit of salt around the lid. Finally the drink into the glass. Done. So go check that out.

Alright, now moving on to an entirely different note. How weird it is that your friend, a close friend, persists on coming up with excuses for not able to meet you, or say, avoid a situation (most of the excuses are just thought up at the spur-of-the-moment). And sometimes agrees to do something, although a bit of reluctance I sense, simply because he couldn't come up with a good excuse? Or probably he feels bad about himself? What does all that mean? C'mon, be an adult. You read this, you know who you are. Honestly, if you wouldn't wanna come or you really have a problem with it, just say 'No'. Stop giving weak and unbelieveable excuses. Tell the truth, straight up. For all you know, we might understand. Really. That's the only right way. What's wrong with that? Like what can we say then? Whatever the reason you may give, it is the truth you are telling us.

But now I learnt that humans, anyone, even your closest of friends, can change so fast. It's funny how life can change and flip 180 in a matter of days. One day you might just wake up and everything - your love, your life, your friendship whatever, is gone without a trace (just like the verse of the song One Love from Blue). Think about it, all you mates. You got to stay alive in this world full of lies. Haha. Time to go now.

Get-hooked!

Was youtube-surfing and saw Hikmah Season 3's opening video, and then I actually realised its episodes were there too. Singapore's halfway through Season 1 - it seems that long, I can hardly wait for wads-goin-to-happen towards the end. Cos I watched Episode 01 and eventually hooked to Season 1 till date. Hey, I think it is a genuinely good sinetron (eng. soap drama). Well, but 3's here, so it's perfectly fine, you can skip Season 2 for now!

Here's a bit of Season 3's Episode 01:

*Welcome! You can try watch more via youtube if you like!

Somewhat better.

[audio; vertigo - u2]

It's so already morning at 3, and I'm still sitting before this non-living companion - my comp. Here I'm yawning, yet after countable tries of putting myself to sleep, I was just unsuccessful. If only I could execute some programming codes to let myself to sleep, that'll be great =p Hopefully after I blog this...

Read a few chapters of my 'Semi-Detached' book in the afternoon and got a bit bored. The book's generally good, it's just myself today. But before long, I was lucky to have my campmate accompanying me to town. It was that fast, I've gotten a suitable birthday gift for a friend. And then it was down to Newton for dinner.

Newton has changed a lot since I last went there when I was still a junior in apc. Which is like one year++ ago? But somewhat better now. Wells, gotta see it for yourself ;]

Neways it's here for now cos I'm getting really really sleepy. Finally.
