Last week:

Hey guys! It's me again and I realized I haven't had the time to make a new blog lately but... now I have haha! It's actually kinda hard to keep track of all that happened but I've always been doin' good in keepin' up with the posts right? Today, I just wanted to make a quick update on a few things that went on last week.

And so last week was my mobilization week and last Saturday was actually my first ever time being called up. I didn't think I'd be activated at first just because I wasn't during the previous mobs I had so far haha. But a friend told me two days earlier that an officer had requested him to be a part of the special support group thing and then... someone from Mindef had called a day before just to inform me that there might be a possibility of me being activated. So I just knew that it would be for real. And I was lucky enough as I had a day off on that Saturday. But I was bummed though because I wasn't able to go out on my day off haha. And it just so happened that my brother and mum decided to go out... like last minute... to shop at the Nike warehouse sale that went on at the Singapore Expo that weekend.

But this whole mobilization thing turned out to be fun. And I was only needed to reach camp within 8 hours which was a pretty long time. So before that me and my campmates were checking out with each other on what was the most "perfect" time for us to come out from home so that we could reach camp about the same time haha. But that day it really felt like I haven't wore my uniform for the longest time and there was this wedding goin' on at the void deck. So a few people happened to see me in that which was pretty embarassing. I took some pictures, but they're really lame.... so... I'm not putting 'em up haha. When I reached camp, I ran into a bunch of my friends. It was really neat to see some the old gang. And we had to pass through quite a number of counters where we had to identify ourselves with our ICs and gave our signatures. Somehow it just felt like I was travelling on CTE and I had to pay before passing any gantries haha. And after all that, what we had to do was just to unpack the things in our field pack for the officers to check and that was it, we could go home already and the entire process took me only 20 minutes! Dang it! Oh you know what's funny is when we were unpacking our things, an officer asked us if we were done and I could even said to him that I have not because I was still struggling to get some things out of my bag and then one of my friend told him that he had forgotten to bring his slippers and shoes along. But the officer said it was alright and he walked away. Sooo cool and last time all we had was only 1 minute to unpack and 1 minute to pack all the things back. And I wonder why were we sweating so bad when we could take our own time to do all that heh. Anyway, I could go on forever about that in a disorganized manner but then this would be 3 times longer and make even less sense than it already does.

So that was pretty crazy and wayyy fun but it was still really early, so I decided to cab home, got change and then joined my brother and mum. I guess those guys at the void deck who had seen me earlier might have been wondering when they saw me again and it was not even an hour passed lol. Even my brother was surprised when I gave him a call. I was a little late though cause my brother and mum were already on their way to Parkway but they said the sale was lacking of variety and they had to line up just to enter the area which kinda reminded me of the gantry I talked about earlier haha. But yeah, I'll stop talking about that. Anyway, it wasn't that bad I guess they got a few stuff like the windbreaker, sport shorts and shoes. I got myself a bit of stuff at Parkway and then we ate at Fish and Co for dinner. And so, I had a great time with that.

I realized I ate out a lot with my family last week and shopped a lot too haha. Last Sunday, I met my sister to eat at Spize again after work. And I just couldn't believe that I was the first to go off from work that day haha. Ahh, pretty surprising. And last Wednesday, I shopped for a bit again with mum and I bought a couple of bracelets/wrist bands whatever you guys call them. As some of you might have already known, I have lots of 'em at home haha. I got one from Pull and Bear recently and I really like it. Cool stuff.

All right, so before I close here, I wanted to talk just a little bit about the American Idol! So they already chose their top 36. I was at work when they showed this on tv so I wasn't able to watch it. But I had friends that were keeping me updated on what was going on haha. I was so excited to hear Danny Gokey got in. He has this soulful vibe and husky voice, and he sounds so good live! But sadly his wife passed away just four weeks before his first audition. Who do you guys root for? If you guys don't mind sharing yours feel free to! I think it's fun to know about those kinds of things. But yeah I wrote an awfully lot in this blog. So I better head out now. How 'bout a little me time, huh?

Apparently, I'm back to purchasing original music cds again after such a long time. And I'm really crazy over collecting them now. I already have a couple of new cds ready for me to blast just anytime.

Today, I bought David Archuleta's self-titled debut album at MJ, which surprisingly, I have long not been patronising. Probably years!

I personally feel this album is just great for an American Idol runner-up. (It doesn't matter if you guys prefer Cook instead.) I like this song (below) and I'm listening and re-listening to it as I am typing this.

I had Delifrance for lunch. Just like MJ, it has been a very long time since I last went there. And the seafood sandwich on ciabatta bread; it tastes good. It's pretty hard to believe it but I'm craving for it again now after saying this. Wow. I absolutely don't mind going there again within these few days.

But right now, I am feeling as lazy as the balmy weather and all I ever wanna do is to rot like jelly and watch tv. And again, it's been a long time. I hardly had much of a time recently. Lets just say I'm no longer a tv junkie like I used to. Well, sometimes the vital tv show episodes I missed, I had to resort to watching them on youtube after work. But today, against all odds, I'm never ever gonna miss this sci-fi sort of tv series called Early Edition. It's one of my favourite tv series for a quite a while now aside from 7th Heaven, Grey's Anatomy... (gosh it's too many to list!) I know it's a relatively old show, but it's definitely great to watch. And then there's the company of a warm drizzle, a cup of hot chocolate!

These are the days when I just stare into the empty spaces on my Post-its notes, with hundred and one unchecked boxes in my mind and no determination to complete a single one of them. Some of them are disgustingly overdued. Perhaps I will do something about my-aimless-life plan thing another day. Well, of course I have not given up hope. Engaging myself in more outdoor activities just like my much "younger" days is still up on my list.

So back to work again tomorrow.
You know what. These are the days when I hate waking up to the same old thing called routine...

Uhh. I've yet to purchase these two books that I've reserved for myself recently - Alek: My Life from Sudanese Refugee to International Supermodel (fyi, it was recommended by Chin Lee too) and Waiter Rant. But when? lol.

Let's just say, soon enough.

I couldn't find the willingness to update in the previous months (and there are so many things I want to do, yet I am not). I supposed when you're tied down with so many things there's really nothing vaguely pseudo-philosophical to talk about. Goodness, how I'd bore myself to death.

But a couple of months since everything seemed to have changed.
New people, new friends, new discoveries.

And now I feel like I am moving on.

Meanwhile, day off tomorrow, which is good. It's been a long, exhausting week.

Surf the Silver,

Caught Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer at GV yesterday with my mum and niece. Not that fantastic la, just average. Ahh the silver surfer turned out to be not as I expected and there was this pretty lame combination of powers, nothing spectacular. I don't wanna reveal too much here, but seriously, they think Captain Planet ar? Haha ok-ok but still if you want some light entertainment, you can go go for it on weekdays la.

The good thing was with my purchase of popcorn combo, I got this 'Surf The Silver' notepad free. Nice! I like to collect free movie collectibles la can. I have so many of them now.

After the movie, we headed down to White Sands for a very late lunch/early dinner before meeting my sis after her work. I must say, that shopping centre changed a lot. From having only McDonalds and now they have other fast food restaurants like KFC and Burger King too. Actually thought of having laksa at Cavana so at least I could curb my craving for laksa (so long since I had one). Unfortunately they didn't sell it now. I ended up having the Chicken Cutlet rice instead which wasn't that feeling. Ugh.

Plus we haven't eaten our lunch and I didn't even had my breakfast (cos I got this habit of not eating breakfast which is really bad I know). So my sis suggested BK then and since she had the BK White Sands Grand Opening flyer (sorry, given exclusively for Pasir Ris Residents only). Basically you only need to present any 1 of the King's Cheques in that flyer at BK White Sands to enjoy the grand opening specials, which also mean 'Discounts'. Ahh eat again! C'mon only yesterday la. How I missed BK... Wahaha.

Rushed home after that to catch Alan Coxon and Kathy Sykes' "Ever Wondered About Food" on Arts Central. Haha... apparently I just like to watch cooking shows with people (or celebrity chefs) like Jamie Oliver, Bill Granger, Martha Stewart, Nigella, Neil Perry etc etc on TV. Quite mesmerising, aren't they. Yeah anyway.

That's about it for yesterday. Today, I met my ex camp-mate, Andrew, on the way back home after the Friday prayers. Didn't notice him from far with the dyed hair and all until he approached and said hi. Plus I was busy sms-ing other ppl that time. Ahha... excuses. No!!! I really was. I would have approached him and said hi too if I knew it was him earlier, really. *smile

I was actually watching Anugerah Planet Muzik '07 (the local Malay music industry's version of the Grammys) on tv before typing this. Kinda remember I'd usually go down to watch it live last time except last year's and this year's. Save money eh. Btw this year, saw Letto, the new Indonesian band, performing (I think they were good), and you should seriously see Jaclyn Victor's (the first Malaysian Idol) impressive live performance via youtube here. Also caught the last episode of Supernatural season 1 in between. Didn't like the ending but of course there is a 2nd season.

Get down on it.

Remember my previous posting here on how miraculously punctual I am for every morning lectures I had. Obviously, my acute sense of punctuality is still pretty non-existent. This was particularly apparent yesterday when I had to meet Leong Huat at one-thirty in school but arrived 30 mins late that was at TWO (how early!!). Bus number 74 took friggin' long to arrive the Dover bus stop, it got me exceptionally more than one and a half hour to reach school la. (So don't bother taking 74 in the afternoon all you SIM mates unless 1. waiting is your personal crazycoolfun hobby or 2. you love the number 74. Craps!) I seriously put weighty thoughts into cabbing down to school. However taking a cab from Dover to school, which is only a few stops away, just to collect my marked assignments wasn't much of a cool idea. Ugh. So when is teleporting getting invented, I wonder.

Right I was actually watching the 11 am drama played by Eizlan Yusof and Zizie Ezetty, called Kartina. The truth is I couldn't miss one episode or else it would be unfathomable. Ya ya, that was what got me late really. Haha I'm so guilty. But then I was in a frantic rush to school after that to meet Leong Huat first and apparently, Chin Yong was on off so he tagged along to help collect Joey's assignments on her behalf. Ok this was deliriously hilarious. Chin Yong had to pretend he was Chua See Mui (that is Joey's actual name and obviously a female name) and had to sign on her behalf. The admin clerk did look at him with a little confusion, and then exclaimed, "I thought it was a girl at first." We laughed out loud as soon as she walked away.

(5 more days to my exams results! How intimidating.)

So hard to believe it's June already, especially when time was never something I've been keeping track of during the holidays. That's why I have absolutely no idea why people find themselves with nothing to do during the holidays except to sleep, wake up, nua-ing at home and fall back into slumberland again. Yet I've found myself to be quite horribly busy with dunno what. My schedule is damn packed. And currently on my list is to watch Shrek The Third tomorrow.

Ahha. Don't laugh about this. I even got the Puss-In-Boots figurine from McDonalds. It's cute. Oh c'mon, you know there's a kid in you and me. Ok so tomorrow eh. You got nothing to do, you can watch it too!

Also, tomorrow is first Sunday of the Month again which means you can also come down to give your support for the Change of Guards (COG) Ceremony at the Istana main gate, whichever you want. Approximately 1800. O' yes I remember now Ken asked me to watch yesterday. I haven't reply him. Meanwhile, if you wonder what is COG, then you can watch this monthly Change Of Guards Ceremony with Silent Precision Drill Squad (SPDS) peformance at Istana by the Singapore Armed Forces Provost Unit (3 Sept 2006). Among the best so far.

So you see you can do so many things to occupy yourselves. If you still got nothing worth to do, what you can consider now is to rot like jelly and watch all the fun decompressed shows on your colored tv. Just the way I like it! It isn't that bad afterall. I'm kinda 'obsessed' with the ANTM re-runs and I'm watching it like crazy, all the way from cycle 1 to cycle 5 (which is still on-going).

There are certain scenes that always made me laugh which include when the girls began hating each other. Muahahaha. But it's at ONE in the morning!! Go visit ANTM website here to see all the photos not only from the show itself, but after the contestants got boot from the show, and then land in the real world of modelling. hahh. 'Fierce' photos.

Before I end this, my friend had just send me the links to watch these two youtube videos cos they were funny. First it was Duncan James, a member from disbanded Blue (picture below), being hypnotized on a kids television program, and then kissed a mop he was told was Britney Spears. Haha probably it wasn't true, could be an act. Watch this. True or not? You decide. Second one here where the same band got a funny fart prank on MTV India. I swear this is more funny.

I cannot think of something even interesting to talk about. There is really nothing much to talk about these days cos I'd be raving away anyway. Honestly, that doesn't interest me much. And you wouldn't want that too. So shall I talk about like, say, American Idol? Woo hoo. Don't even get me started on that. I can go blah, blah, it will never end. Alright it will. I mean I rather that then some horrendously boring local talent shows like Anugerah 2007. On the music front, go local! not. Ohh I can already 'hear' ppl saying "oh no, not again..." at this point of time. But anyway.

(i) "Damn, why didn't IIIII try out for American Idol? Geez. He was okay. But not really anything special" or,

Ahh. I supposed if I don't like it, then I don't watch as simple as that. Don't get me wrong. I am not bitter or angry or anything. Still Blake has his own particular style that is in the mainstream right now.

So back at home.

Today, saw me watching Spider-Man 3 for my second time this week. Believe it. But I know ppl who have already watched 4 times! I guessed it's way better than Superman Returns cos I fell asleep for near 1/2 of the entire Superman movie! Yeah, I know many ppl hated it and would advise against seeing it. Superman was so much better (pls tell me that you are kidding). But I kinda dug it, the third sequel was a good flick. I don't get why ppl didn't like it. I could follow everything going on perfectly. Right now, there is a lot of ideas about it. Some ppl will like it, and some will dislike it. Still, I thought it's worth to watch it on the big screen. I like it.

Wow... Maybe you should read this forum, ppl had so much unnecessary sarcasm about the sequel. Someone posted this, "why did Mary Jane break up with Tobey on the bridge? Did harry threaten her life, did he threaten Peter's life, or maybe Aunt May. And cos he's freaking Spiderman, what reason could she possible have for breaking it off, what could she be afraid of when she has a superhero to protect her." Now c'mon, who said heroes can't die. Duh. So to these ppl who typed so odd comments, can seriously buzz off. I thought the movie does not deserve all the negative reviews. The way Tobey Maguire delivered Parker's imperfectness is credible. And he is funny, even off camera. But that's another thing altogether. Here, you gotta watch him on the Ellen's talk show!

I supposed I am a TV junkie back at home - watch TV a lot and then talks about it. Nowadays, TV has been my only rescue for sheer boredom. So did anyone catch American Idol last Thursday night? Blake is not out. Yeah, my american idol pick would be either Blake or Jordin. Like what Tobey had told Ellen, his pick would also be the two. We see this week. Meanwhile, they did the full version of the songs they performed each week and you can find them on youtube if you like. But you need to see Simon and Ryan, again on Ellen. Funny, you go watch it.

Maybe, I am just an avid buff for english talk shows. And The Ellen Degeneres Show is one of the best talk shows in my list. So those of you who have not watched it before, pls do. Everyday on a few time slots. Even the review says "Her offbeat demeanor and dancing feet attract many, but perhaps it’s the sometimes downright silly humor and skits that make the show so much fun to watch". I still like her dancing part cos it gets you moving. But if you are absolutely clueless right now with whatever I'm saying, it is worth a watch.

Alright, just a few hours ago, I've got my MP3s rearranged in my Sony Ericsson phone and my WMP. 'Cause I am blasted with the same o' songs over and over again. All I wanted to do is get some old songs removed, and the new ones in, which I already did. I totally can't imagine how on earth I could even did away with my MP3s for the past exams period. I am not crazy. It is like must we always mug and squeeze formulaes and theories into our poor little brain for the singapore dream? What is wrong with letting yourself breathe?

Yeterday, I had a chat with a friend about living in Singapore, you just have to read this. It wasn't absolutely shocking now that Singapore has landed a less welcomed honour, that is, its pace of life is literally the fastest. Which also literally means 'the most stressful'. Duh. So, thinking of migrating anyone? I've gotta insert Chris Daughtry's 'Home' on my mp3 now. And maybe I will remind myself Singapore is my truly home. Haha tk care!

Somewhere only we know.

I felt compelled to talk about this again after today's American Idol. Sorry, mates! (just couldn't get enough of it) Chris is out, I'm down with Blake. His vocal work - the 'beatbox' -it's new, it's different! you should listen to this. Even if he busts out that beatbox all his performances, it's contemporary. He knows art, no way it gets 'old' that quick. C'mon, why not something new? Not sure if Blake's gonna stay, based solely on what the judges had commented. I thought I didn't agree with all of it.


Let's just get out of the box. Probably we should move towards the Paula School of Criticism, that is believe in accentuating the positive and concentrating on the rightness brings more rightness. I am certainly more jaded with Whitney-Houston or Mariah-Carey alike here. So Blake, anyone? (We'll see the results later)

I've finally resume my running after a hiatus! How long was it? Hope I stay faithful to it. If it isn't meant for the IPPT. Nah. Also a good remedy to clear my head. Yeah, maybe I should go for a swim later in the day. I like that idea!

Meanwhile, that's aside. The very most recent movie I've watched was Spiderman 3. But I can't hardly wait to watch Lee Tamahori's 'NEXT' played by Nicholas Cage where he has this uncanny ability to see a few minutes into the future. Like awesome! With that you can change the present and your future.

What else? 'Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer'. Am I hooked up to the movies once again? Haha. And whenever I talk about movies, it all brings back to the campdays where we would be seeing movies and then end up with a very long post-movie discussion that could last us the entire journey back camp. I'm not kidding mate. There was once KY even wrote his own interpretation of the movie 'Re-cycle'. Or issit another one? Haha whatever it is, Jeremy will be organising another meet-up this Sunday I think ever since the Protégé. yeah I've got to confirm again with Ken.


Now, I felt like sleeping. Haha like what I've talked about with my friend on MSN earlier. I've got this bad habit of falling asleep in front of my computer during my poly days. That's terrible. Let me finish this first. Haha alright I give up. Maybe I'm off to sleep now. My dreams will take me to somewhere only I know. Like that song from Keane. Here, it is. Will update again later!

A comeback 'me'.

Gotta do what I ought to do now. Without having to think of subsequent papers that is to come, and unpatiently waiting to complete, and then get them done with. Each day waking up to only stare at my notes till I fell asleep again. There was simply no time for anything! Ha... wasn't that cool. Duh. Maybe I shall not rant about it. Today, the mood is good.

I've got this cd which I bought before my first paper. A week I think. It was Take That's 'Beautiful World'. A comeback after '10' years! And this is my first 'CD' since a decade ago (Nowadays click download, save and play =p) Guessed it's hard to exactly find a cd with all 10 good songs in it. This is a great album! Watch one of their performances - here. Oh suddenly, I remembered during my TPSS days where we had a 'Music' project some sort, and we had to sing with our own DIY music instruments. My group of friends and I did one of the songs from Take That. So long ago. Have I grown up so much?

I ought to watch my tv with at least no books, no papers of any sort. Haha. Did I just learn how to multi-task? Read, remember and watch at the same time. I think I've got bored of it the day before my last paper. It was last Thursday, I rather watch American Idol and kept my papers away. But Chris Richardson was voted off (I expected Lakisha). His last performance - watch. Why America, he was good!

I finally sat down and watched my vcd, a malay movie "Qabil Khushry Qabil Igam". Bought it after my first paper. Couldn't watch it till like yesterday. The movie has a twist some sort in it in the middle. The best movie ever. Watch it. Best actors on it. Nobody could hold back their tears if they watch it I guessed. That kinda impact. It was great! And anyone of you watch 'Heroes' on Starworld? It's about the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. Boy, I'm addicted to it. And ever since yesterday, I think I began to like the character 'PETER PETRELLI'. He has this ability to absorb the powers around him. Like cool! Ppl, cmon you should watch it. There's this interview on Ellen's talk show - go watch.

It's like I'm making a 'comeback' to a happy me once again after the exams. What should I do next? Maybe I shall stare to space. Tk care!

War of Nerves.

Bump into me reveling in a hot tea at the traditional-and-modern fused coffestall labelled Ya Kun (enunciated 'Ah-Koon'), or relishing a mango frap at Starbucks Coffee isolated on a lazy afternoon like today, if the weather accedes. Momentarily, it can rain relentlessly and the humidity makes me want to kill myself! Or if getting out of the house isn't appropriate, then it will be a perfect reason to have one entire afternoon dedicated for just sleeping or snuggle at home watching my long-due-to-see DVDs. But no, I should be doing some other like seeing my friends particularly when I got Saturday-off this week, which in turn eventuate it into a longer weekend plus christmas for catching-up! Yay. Not that the weekdays 'forbid', I'm moderately enervated to take on anything after work notably the past few weeks.

MPH is believably receiving a little too much, like endless this holiday season! That I am assured. Almost impassable to clear all, can we? I so need physical and mental rest, anyone heard me?! Well, I do get occasional visits on common days from campmates like Joseph, Ken and then a few of my other closer friends had skied in, when I wasn't working. -Haha- At least, I could drift my focus away from the ceaseless work even for a short while. Thanks. I long readjusted myself to the season of retail madness. It's a remarkable change of feeling; that I see MPH as one work place now and not one bookstore in a shopping mall like I did formerly.

I missed the supplier's eat treats last few weeks. I was on medical leave. Nevertheless, just last Friday another treat, everyone! And then one of my colleagues unexpectedly bought us Starbucks' blended mocha. Of course, I will always remember that part when another MPH mate of ours constantly grumbled about how bitter it was without whipped cream but we can still do without it, really. And that my other colleague's frap was the only exceptional one with the cream! Boy, that was comical.

My colleagues said I was lucky. The other day, I had to do deliveries to all the city and suburb outlets with our driver. But unanticipated things occurred en route like we were partly drenched in rainwater right after lunch, then there was a tree fall at Tagore Drive and no matter what we still had to dash across it! And there was this one odd customer order which we were rather displeased with. Radically, we not only wasted an hour till after two (the place's a corporate government office where the lunchtime is until 2pm), we were also given an absolute wrong customer name (no such name in that one building) by the customer herself which I myself was utterly confused and basically no idea how and why. Despite there was no contact number. And the second immediate person to receive on her behalf (who indeed exists) wasn't even around. The following day was similar. Couldn't the security just collect it first and then give to her when she returns? What-so-ever, I went to SP as well to deliver MPH vouchers for their forthcoming open house. Like whenever I went back school, it surely brought old good retrospection. And that goes all the way back to the years where I used to be a constant official helper for the courses and career fair open houses with the rest. Was that fun, extra CCA points!!

Moving on from livelihood to hq meet-up part IV at Vivo City today! The last for 2006. The MRT station at Harbourfont was jam-packed, it was almost like having an autograph and take-a-photograph session of the most popular actor from Taiwan there with all the screaming fans which will soon result in stampede. What typical Singaporeans, they are forever rushing like God-knows-how. That precisely happened when I alighted from the train. Never but almost crushed. Anyway our original idea was to watch the silver screen ever since our previous get-together at Harry's (Heard and remember that!? It wasn't only me. Haha) but since we got our own holiday plans in the evening and cos of the crowd, we sticked to just lunch at Fig and Olive, in which I agreed the food wasn't good. An entirely different note altogether, why is there people who likes to criticize so much instead of really helping or giving advice? If you can tag me. That's friggin reality. Last Friday, met my secondary school closer buddies at White Sands. Yes, we all changed. It's funny we always said the words 'keep-in-contact' when we ourselves didn't even try. At times, you did try but just that the other do not really bother so much. So why we? -Hmm- Oh did you watch Supernatural last Friday? (though it was shown on AXN already) Great, cool tv series after The Ghost Whisperer.

Finally, I've picked up on my running again after a hiatus. Was like finally. Yeah hopefully I'll stay faithful to it.

Hari Raya Aidiladha next week. Already the festive songs playing on the local radio. Christmas songs on-aired concurrently this year. Oh ya, have a great Christmas and Aidiladha for anyone celebrating.

It's gonna be 2007 soon. Doesn't quite feel like one year ya. New year, what's my resolutions? I wouldn't wish to be like a voice without words. I will suppress my fears. And battle through this - War Of Nerves. What's yours?

Life is odd.

Certain emotions emanate, yet I can't let my honesty out. It's seemingly beyond words, I'm helpless. Something refrains me. Comparably, I try to keyboard something down but I can never phrase myself. I look back at myself thereafter, again the word why drifts across my mind. I deem to search my usual-self. I reckon I need time. Slowly, I will recover then.

Anyhow, I was on-board the bus the other day to MPH, and I recalled one student (plausibly from the NPCC; she had NPCC tees on) greeting the other somewhat like "Good morning, Sergeant!". So the other could be her senior. What-so-ever, the NPCC sergeant didn't return her greetings, not even a hello or hi. Ungratified. Even your real Warrant Officer in your real NS life greeted as low as a Recruit. -Why do I friggin care?- Life!

Life is odd. Reality! People can be so insensitive. In other words, they can blabber anything and end up offending others. How I ever wish I am so numb with 'everything'. Nevertheless, I am only human. Save me. Till then, I refuse to falter. I will rise steadily, standing out of 'their' reach.

Next, what recall manning? I just ended this army chore not too long ago. Alright, merely two months or so. I thought I would be free from any sort of mobilisation this year; however it has been scheduled this tuesday up to 19th. Tim told me my batch may not be affected. That goes with those who just ord-ed last November. December? Hopefully. I don't know about our forthcoming HQ meet-up (part IV) on the 17th currently. Tim's on duty.

After all, I've already checked out Vivo City last Friday after work with Joseph and Ken. Finally! It was jam-packed and BIG. Supposedly, we were to meet-up with KY, Yan Ning, Ngok Fung and Yong Loong (he couldn't come at the eleventh hour) for dinner and then Deja Vu but oh boy, the tickets were selling so fast, we were only left with the first and second row from the screen. Thinking of Saw 3 (or Happy Feet, I havent watch!) then. The sad part - we eventually settled for Deja Vu still, but it was at PS. Dude, we missed the GV Max. Never mind another time aight. Well at least, I got to walk Vivo City even though its for a short while and another latest movie!! So my wish on my previous entry fulfilled. -Ha- Deja Vu isn't really up to expectations I had from the ad trailers. Moderately ok-lah. But it has occasional good jokes. I've yet to catch The Holiday and Eragon! And of course Death Note II. We went Pizza Hut for dinner. Been some time since I went there.

And Friday, finally Apc's December batch friends ord-ed! ORD LOH!

Oh yup, I missed the season finale of Ghost Whisperer. I'm hooked to the tv drama besides CSI on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I didn't get anyone to record it down. I guess I'll just hear from my mum. She's into it too! Meanwhile, Hikmah's final episode tomorrow. Though it was played on Malaysian TV before -Ha- It's rated first on Suria's top 10 shows. Anyhow, I think Rashid Sibir's Dalam Hati Ada Cinta II's better than Cinta Q. Whatever it is, I'm hooked to a lot of tv shows currently! Thanks to my family!

Was youtube-surfing and saw Hikmah Season 3's opening video, and then I actually realised its episodes were there too. Singapore's halfway through Season 1 - it seems that long, I can hardly wait for wads-goin-to-happen towards the end. Cos I watched Episode 01 and eventually hooked to Season 1 till date. Hey, I think it is a genuinely good sinetron (eng. soap drama). Well, but 3's here, so it's perfectly fine, you can skip Season 2 for now!

Woohoo so Singapore Idol winner - Hady Mirza! Cool! But damn some parts of the show was pre-recorded. I got a friend who told me recently he wouldnt wanna watch Singapore Idol Finals cos... a guy wouldn't be interested in other GUYS, and Jasmine Tye wasn't in. Dude c'mon, that's utterly stupid la wads wrong in supporting male singers. You are only appreciating talents here. Right but if wad he actually meant was, he isn't interested in local talent shows but watch just to admire girls like Jasmine Tye cos she's pretty then maybe that will make sense. Er so, the correct interpretation?

I will never ever say this enuff but time flies really fast. See today marks the start of fasting month again. Ay this morning I could still wake up thinking of getting a drink from the fridge. Sshhhhhh! =p But I was that lucky la, I realised it before I even got out of bed. Phew.

Today Singapore Idol Finals! And Hady's a cool performer la. (And Fluorence commented "you cannot get any cooler than this la, you're cool!") We shall see tomorrow. Speaking of which, I remember this very quote from Paul Twohill, quite inspirational and it sounded something like this - "Always remember who you are cos after all you're like that jar of peanut butter everyone wants to dig into. And when your bottle runs dry, no one wants you anymore." Oh wells, up to you to interpret it ya.
