Darn that dream.
December was supposed to be spent on a well-deserved holiday with my dearest family. With us sharing great family moments together that is worth to be the new Kodak commercial. But sigh, I don't even think I can go up to KL for a weekend. My sister... she recently came back from California. (I am a little envious looking at her warm California photos!) And then last week, my mum... she went to Malacca just to soak in the old atmosphere and meet up with her long-time-never-seen relatives.
How I wished I could. But, it's alright because this coming January, me, my brother and my sister... we planned to book a hotel in Singapore. Yes, in Singapore, either in the city or Sentosa! Just for the fun of it. Lets say maybe two nights. It's gonna be great. We'll see to it.
Anyhow, last Friday and Saturday, Vivo City extended its mall hours for those late night, last minute Christmas shoppers, and having to work on both consecutive days, it's enervating. I think I deserved a mental breakdown! (I still remember me and my uni mates would always go for a haircut like at the end of the month, whenever we felt so stressed up. But that's another story altogether.)
So what's more perfect to do than to snuggle and rot at home the following day on a Sunday (that is my off-day). However what me and my mum did was to head down to Courts and Ikea instead, which I swear never fail to excite me. Probably because I've always had the notion of being an interior designer one day ever since I was a small kid. Okay, to be honest, there was another more radical reason for us to go there and that was to scout for my mother's new bed. Believe me. You wouldn't wanna know why. (Ayu, I know it's comical.)
Yup, we managed to get a nice, comfy bed and it's gonna be delivered this Wednesday afternoon! And I managed to check out on the DVD recorders at Courts too. 'Cause I planned to get a brand new one. Yes, feasibly next month! It's all very intriguing. Then it was down to the Converse shop at Tampines Mall where I got my new pair of shoes. I like! Oh yes, Orange, I've already seen the holiday sale on Threadless!! So are you buying them?
Last night, my friend told me this over msn, "U R stil the same, fan. U can never save up. juz like back in poly." Lol.
Okay, whatever it is, I shall be going for a swim later if the weather accedes. Nowadays, it can rain relentlessly and the humidity makes me want to kill myself! Till, then.
