I have nothing better to say.

I had just posted an entry previously on how sleepy I was recently. And yesterday, I fell asleep again on the train on the way back after work! When I woke up, I was already on the way to the Tanah Merah station which means I had missed one stop. I know I should have changed to the train heading back to Bedok on the opposite side but then guess how silly I was. I didn't. Being the-so-confident me, I alighted and tapped out of mrt, thinking that I should take an SBS bus which goes to Bedok instead. I know if I take a bus from there, it should take at least 10 minutes or so 'cause it wasn't faraway from my destination, just 4-5 stops apart.

So assured of the side I'm taking, the bus arrived and I boarded. But the bus went along a totally different route to the one I know and further into Chai Chee. Now obviously, I'd taken the bus from the wrong side. Yet in my heart, I was still having a firm belief that I would somehow end up at my intended destination. Not very wise. And shit it was going to the direction towards the PIE, so I thought something was wrong (although I didn't know exactly where it was actually heading to). By that time, many people have already alighted. It's left with just me and another 2 passengers behind. So I made the decision to alight straightaway. And there I was, already at the end part of Chai Chee. And fyi and for those of you, ppl, who know how Chai Chee is like late at night. Totally quiet and very very dark, maybe they need OSRAM - the energy-saving bulbs =p

Thinking of hailing a cab. Since I was unfortunately stucked in a place so freaky with only one or two vehicles passing by. Plus no signs of people, can. The feeling was like walking in " Silent Hill", if you know what I mean (though I may be a bit exaggerating). It was then that I decided to walk a bit further out where I could possibly see many more vehicles. I was left with no other options - calling a cab wasn't a good idea either. And to add to the already-worst situation I was facing, still no empty taxis lingering around. Got so fed-up. And what you're going to read after this may just sound crazy and you may just awe in disbelief. I finally chose to walk, from Chai Chee to home (it's far!). But I reached home safely. The time was already 1 am in the morning! My legs were really hurt then. How amazing, I'd survived a series of unfortunate events!

So much for taxis in Chai Chee, it's down to Today.

Fadhli msg-ed me from camp earlier this evening telling me about his upcoming interview to join the Military Police Command. He sounded so enthusiastic. Kinda reminded me of when I was selected for the same interview. It was for only these two - 1) Singapore Police Force or 2) MP! (Note: Life will defnitely be much, much better as you move on)

Also today, I went for a swim again. Swam for quite a number of laps, in an attempt to live the pages of Men's Health. Haha =p And then, I met my sister for early dinner at LJS, and though I've been going to LJS and eating the food like heck of a lot of times, I still had fun. Such is the deal that comes with very close siblings you have. Even the most randomest thing we do, can be fun. (Work is engulfing me but off-days - a free mind is exactly what I need.)

(Stumble and fall is the heart of it all. Someday you will find what you're searching for.)
